Click the Repository search operator. The configuration panel opens.

Enable the Use portal database option if you want the search to switch dynamically to the currently active database, or select a database from the drop-down list.

Enter a search term in the Search field to find models or objects.

You can refine the search by specifying additional search options.

1. Click SETTINGS > to display more options.

2. Click the field that displays the currently selected group and select a different group if required.

   By default, the search runs on the database root if no group is specified. You can limit the search to a database group or subgroup. For performance reasons it is advisable to search at the group level.

3. Within text: By default, the search finds your search term if the term is located at the beginning of a text. Enable the option if you want the search to find your search term even if it is located within a text. Note that you can additionally use the wildcards '*' and '?' within the search term to perform more detailed searches.

4. Search in all text attributes: Includes all text attributes in the search in addition to the name attribute.

5. Include subgroups: Automatically includes all subgroups of a selected group in the search.

In the drop-down menu, select whether you are searching for Models or Objects.

Select a model or object type from the Type drop-down menu to refine the search.

You can limit the search by specifying additional filters.

To load the data of the search result, click the Calculate icon. The search result is displayed in the data feed preview.

You can specify the columns that can be used as criteria (measures and dimensions) for the widget. Click Columns to open the Add columns panel. Select the columns and click Done. You can select a maximum of 15 columns. Click the Calculate icon to also view the columns selected in the data feed preview.

Click the icon in the editor header. The data feed is saved and the dashboard editor opens.
