Select the first action

An action is an individual step in a flow that represents a specific task, for example, retrieving a model or sending an e-mail.

As you want to use a link to a model in your e-mail, you select Get model links as the first action.

  1. In the flow, click Select Select a first action. The Add action panel opens.

  2. Scroll down to the Publishing section and click Get model links. The Get model links panel opens.

  3. In the Input data section, click Enter data Open mapping panel next to the Database name field. The Define mapping panel opens.

  4. Click Database. The panel closes.

  5. Click Enter data Open mapping panel next to the Model identifiers field. The Define mapping panel opens.

  6. Enable Advanced expression.

  7. Click Operator to display all available operators.

  8. Click Create list to add the operator to the Advanced expression field.

  9. Position the mouse cursor inside the brackets.

  10. Click Dynamic content.

  11. Select Identifier of the selected model.

    Your advanced expression is now: CREATE_LIST(${Model#1.context.selectedGuid})

  12. Click Apply. The panel closes.

  13. Click Save Save.

When you start the flow, a dialog opens, allowing you to select a database and the model you want to link to in the e-mail.
