Start published flows

You can start published flows.

Start a flow from 'Published content'
Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Published content Published content.

  2. Navigate to the relevant model.

  3. Click Start a flow Start a flow. The Start a flow panel is displayed.

  4. Start the relevant flow.

If a form is defined, it is displayed. Otherwise, the flow starts to run immediately.

Start a flow for documents from 'Documents' fact sheet in 'Published content'
Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Published content Published content.

  2. Navigate to the relevant model.

  3. Click Documents.

  4. Select a document. You can select multiple documents.

  5. Click Start a flow Start a flow. The Start a flow panel is displayed.

  6. Start the relevant flow.

If a form is defined, it is displayed. Otherwise, the flow starts to run immediately.

Start a flow from
Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Models and objects Models and objects.

  2. Navigate to the relevant database, group, or model.

  3. Click Start a flow Start a flow. The Start a flow panel is displayed.

  4. Start the relevant flow.

If a form is defined, it is displayed. Otherwise, the flow starts to run immediately.

Start a flow from 'Documents' tab of the model or object properties
Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Models and objects Models and objects.

  2. Navigate to the relevant model.

  3. Click the name of the model you want to open.

  4. Select the item for which you want to display the properties.

  5. Display the Properties tab of the Properties Details bar if it is not already open.

  6. Click Documents.

  7. Select a document. You can select multiple documents.

  8. Click Start a flow Start a flow. The dialog opens.

  9. Start the relevant flow.

If a form is defined, it is displayed. Otherwise, the flow starts to run immediately.

Start a flow from 'User management' user or user group list
Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.

  2. Click User management User management. The list of users is displayed. To display the list of user groups, click User groups.

  3. Select at least a user or a user group.

  4. Click Start a flow Start a flow. The Start a flow panel is displayed.

  5. Start the relevant flow.

If a form is defined, it is displayed. Otherwise, the flow starts to run immediately.

Start a flow from 'User management' user or user group details
Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.

  2. Click User management User management. The list of users is displayed.

  3. Click a user or a click User groups and click a user group. The user or user group details are displayed.

  4. Click Start a flow Start a flow. The Start a flow panel is displayed.

  5. Start the relevant flow.

If a form is defined, it is displayed. Otherwise, the flow starts to run immediately.

Start a flow from 'ARIS document storage'
Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Documents Documents.

  2. Navigate to the relevant folder.

  3. Select the relevant documents.

  4. Click Start a flow Start a flow. The Start a flow panel is displayed.

  5. Start the relevant flow.

If a form is defined, it is displayed. Otherwise, the flow starts to run immediately.

You can also do the same from ARIS Administration > Documents.

Start a flow from document details
Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Documents Documents.

  2. Navigate to the relevant folder.

  3. Click the relevant document. The document details are displayed.

  4. Click Start a flow Start a flow. The Start a flow panel is displayed.

  5. Start the relevant flow.

If a form is defined, it is displayed. Otherwise, the flow starts to run immediately.

You can also do the same from ARIS Administration > Documents.
