Activate or lock solution configuration

Once you have created a solution configuration, the solution's branch is not available to users until you have activated the configuration. If you set the status to Locked, users cannot use this branch.

  1. In ARIS Architect, click ARIS > Show Administration Administration.

  2. Click Navigation Navigation in the bar panel if the Navigation bar is not activated yet.

  3. Open the Group SAP > Solution configurations (Solution Manager 7.2) folder. If you use ARIS Connector for SAP Solutions, open the Group SAP > ARIS Connectors for SAP Solutions folder. All registered SAP® Servers are displayed.

  4. Open the SAP® Server structure in which the solution is managed. The configurations on this SAP® Server are displayed.

  5. Select the relevant branch.

  6. Select the Locked branch configuration locked configuration in the table.

  7. Click Activate Enable/Disable branch for synchronization.

The configuration is enabled for synchronization. Active configurations are indicated by this symbol Enabled configuration. When Active, users can transfer contents between ARIS and SAP® Solution Manager.
