Add document (satellite modeling)
Prerequisite
You have the ARIS Connect Designer license and the ARIS for SAP Solutions license privileges.
You have enabled content type configuration in ARIS Administration. If you have modified ARIS method, make sure that the content type set contains all related method items, such as derived symbols.
Open the process model that includes the related SAP function and edit as required. You can open the model either from the published content or from the repository.
On the Model tab, click
Enable SAP ® modeling support.Click the SAP function to which you want to connect the document.
Click
Details > Properties and move to SAP Solutions.Click the type of document you want to add, such as Input project documentation.
Click
Add and enter the name or
navigate to an existing object.Click Create. The Create SAP documentation dialog opens.
Specify the name of the Information carrier object.
Select the related document type. All document types that were defined in the related branch configuration are listed.
Choose whether to open a document from a URL, a local path, or a connected document storage system. To select a document, navigate to the document file or browse the document management system (DMS). To open a document from a web location, specify the URL of the document. Note: Once a document has been updated in ARIS document storage, you no longer need to manually update the value of the Link1 attribute. The link always points to the most current version of the document.
Click OK.
The document is created.
This document will be included when you start the SAP® synchronization in ARIS Architect and transfer documents. Documents that were created in ARIS and transferred to SAP Solution Manager® 7.2 can be deleted using the SAP® synchronization.
