Configure a dynamic repository search
Alternatively, you can use a dynamic repository search in the dashboard. This means that you can change the search term when using the dashboard. You can use user input or another stream to enter a search term in the dashboard. You do not have to specify a search term when configuring the repository search in the data feed.
If no search term is specified for the dynamic search in the dashboard, the search term specified in the Search options panel is used as a fallback.
Click the Repository search operator. The configuration panel opens.
Click Runtime filters in the configuration panel.
Click the
icon in the Search term field and select an input type from the drop-down menu.
You can select an existing stream from the drop-down menu for input. Or if you want to use user input, you must first add user input to the data feed. The user input must be of the Text type. The added user input is available in the drop-down menu.
If you want to perform the repository search in the group specified in the fact sheet of a model to which the current dashboard is assigned, enable the Retrieve group from fact sheet option.
