E-mails

Create and design e-mails.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. In an open flow, select or add a Send an e-mail action. The panel opens.

  2. Select Open mail builder. The Rich text editor opens automatically when you open an e-mail. The usual formatting options such as alignment, different font weights, tables, and so on are available here.

If you switch to the Plain text editor, you have very limited options for designing an e-mail. All the formatting you specified in the rich text editor is lost.

The Mail builder opens.

You can design an e-mail that meets your individual requirements. Predefined variables and user-defined placeholders help you create dynamic and personalized content. Depending on the e-mail type, different predefined variables are available. In addition, you can create your own placeholders. A placeholder must have the following form: {{placeholdername}} if you type them into the text. That ensures that this text is automatically recognized as a placeholder.

As soon as you implemented placeholders in the e-mail and saved the e-mail, the placeholders are listed in the Placeholders section. These placeholders are available in the Define mapping panel and you can map them there.
