Assign roles for the use of content filters

You can define content filters using role assignments. These filters are added to the role filters under My content My content > Selected filters.

Prerequisites

  • You have the User administrator function privilege.

  • You have the ARIS Connect Designer license privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Published content Published content.

  2. If the Group tree is not visible, click the arrow in the middle on the left side to show it.

  3. Navigate to a diagram containing an occurrence of the relevant role. If necessary, use the Enterprise Search to find it.

  4. Open the Diagram fact sheet.

  5. Click Edit Edit > Edit model Edit model. The model is opened in a new browser tab for editing.

  6. Select the relevant Role type object in the model.

  7. Display the Properties tab of the Properties Details bar if it is not already open.

  8. Add the User/User group association attribute if it is not available under USER MANAGEMENT.

  9. Move the mouse pointer over the User/User group association attribute.

  10. Click Add user group Select user or user group. The Select user(s)/user group(s) dialog opens.

  11. Enter the user name into the Filter search field.

  12. Enable the relevant user, and click OK.

  13. Save the changes and close the diagram.

The role has been assigned to the user.

If this user activates the content filters, information is restricted according to the role.
