Keyboard shortcuts for the quick search

The following shortcuts are available for the quick search.

Keyboard shortcuts can be performed on selected items. Selected items can be identified by the focus in the program.

Shortcut	Action
Arrow down/right	Selects the next entry of the result list downwards. If the last entry is selected, press the Arrow down key to select the first entry of the list.
Arrow up/left	Selects the next entry of the result list upwards. If the first entry is selected, press the Arrow up key to select the last entry of the list.
Enter	Jumps to the selected entry, for example, to the fact sheets of a model in Published content, or opens the Open dialog, for example, to download a document from ARIS document storage. Opens the Search area if no entry is selected or jumps to the selected entry.
Shift + Tab	Jumps to the next element of the user interface or to the next entry from right to left and from bottom to top. Opens navigation for page sections if no element is selected.
Tab	Jumps to the next element of the user interface or to the next entry from left to right and from top to bottom. Opens navigation for page sections if no element is selected.
